As I was not satisfied with my previous prototyping attempts, I decided to use this week to further explore some concepts based on what I learned from previous attempts.

 

I am lacking in time and the proper materials at the moment, however, after stumbling upon this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I decided to incorporate the wire coin sorter frame into my design, and use plastic, silicone, or  another rigid material/textile  to make the coin sorter/wallet easier to use and more stylish. In the next weeks I will be refining this idea.

 

The last sketch is closest to what I am envisioning- the idea for the folding design originated through experimental origami folding for the first sketch/final prototype from last week.

 

I will edit this page further or create an interim page for those sketches/explorations.
